There are lots of places to go out in New Zealand; different places having distinctly different atmospheres. Most of the bars have dance floors with mainstream music and usually free entry. There are some places which have   fully-ice bars, which have heaps of ice sculptures inside and really everything  made out of ice - including the drink glasses.
Nightlife here is so very fascinating and exciting owing to the innumerable bars and pubs that are out there. New Zealand has a good variety of places to go after the sun sets. There are plenty of convivial pubs and bars. Although club nightlife tends to be quiet during the week, on weekends the popular spots are overflowing and live music, theatre and ballet choices are most plentiful in the country.
Lively DJ and band scenes, particularly in the larger cities, have given New Zealand's night life a renewed vibrancy. There are a variety of night-clubs, cabarets, pubs, concerts and live performances to choose from, and there are a few good casinos.
